Chris Patterson

Chris Patterson on Sunday, October 5, 2008 passed away at 12:25 P.M. in Lafayette, LA, at the age of 45 years. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitations on Thursday, October 9, 2008 from 9:30 AM until funeral time at the First United Methodist Church, 6109 Hwy. 311, Houma, LA with a Funeral Service at 11:00 AM. Interment will be followed at Terrebonne Memorial Park Cemetery, Houma, LA. Miss Patterson resided in Lafayette, LA and was a native of Houma, LA. She had a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of New Orleans. It wasn't until she obtained her Master's in Education from the University of Miami that she found her true niche - teaching. Her loves were family, friends, pets, and her beloved Billy O'Leary. Chris continues to live on through her mother, Mary Ann Patterson; two sisters:; Caren Patterson Smith and Cinda Patterson van Merrienboer, three nephews: Dylan and Devin Smith and Andre van Merrienboer; and one niece, Ava van Merrienboer. Chris was preceded in death by her father, Charles Ray Patterson, Jr. ; and a step brother, Mark Patterson. Chris is an angel now, one who watches over all of us. God rest her soul
