Nolan “Ne Ne” Joseph Billiot

Nolan “Ne Ne” Joseph Billiot, 74, a native and resident of Dulac, died at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 3, 2008. Visitation will be from 8 a.m. to funeral time Thursday at Chauvin Funeral Home. Religious service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home chapel, with burial in Grace Christian Memorial Gardens Cemetery. He is survived by his wife, Dora Verret Billiot of Dulac; four sons, Ferrell Billiot and wife, Tressy, Faren Billiot and wife, Tina, of Houma, Ronnie Billiot, and Rodney Billiot of Dulac; two daughters, Brenda Collier and husband, Eddie, of Pontachatoula, and Debra Roberts and husband, Steve, of Houma; three brothers, Paul, Clarence and Peter Billiot; two sisters, Judy Defelice and Evelyn Lodrigue; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul Billiot and Lena Verret Billiot; two brothers, Anthony and Alan Billiot; and two sisters, Betty Ann Gregoire and Jeanette Trahan. He was a retired tugboat captain.
