Genevieve Margaret Dupre Hebert

Genevieve Margaret Dupre Hebert, 81, a native of Montegut and resident of Houma, died at 5:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 13, 2008. Visitation will be from 8 a.m. to funeral time Saturday at Maria Immacolata Catholic Church. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church, with burial in St. Elie Cemetery. She is survived by three sons, Billy Hebert and wife, Barbara Hebert, Gerald Hebert and wife, Paula Hebert, and Tommy Hebert and wife, Joan Malbrough Hebert of Houma; two daughters, Barbara Russo and husband, Sam Russo, and Linda Rousseau and husband, Luby Rousseau, of Houma; one brother, E.J. Dupre of Gonzales; one sister, Lyie Simoneaux of Montegut; 10 grandchildren, Courtney Hornsby, Eric Hebert, Jill Ganier, Kara McClanahan, Mickey Russo, Angie Leger, Tiffany Rousseau, Nicholas Hebert, Mitchell Hebert and Jody Sevin; and 10 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Paul Hebert; her parents, Ernest J. Dupre and Josephine LeBouef Dupre; two brothers, Lynus Dupre and Duffy Dupre; and three sisters, Adele Pellegrin, Necia Robicheaux and Elodie Price. She was a homemaker, a member of the Ladies Auxiliary, Disabled Veterans Auxiliary and the American Legion. She was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
