Jason “J.T.” Wayne Thomas, 29, a native of New Orleans and resident of Houma, died Saturday, Aug. 30, 2008.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday and from 8 a.m. to funeral time Saturday at First United Methodist Church. Religious service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the church, with burial in Garden of Memories.
He is survived by his mother, Rhonda Cresap Garcia and stepfather, Dr. Michael Garcia of Houma; one sister, Wendy Thomas Rotolo and husband, Jeff, of Houma; two stepbrothers, Eric Garcia and Joseph Garcia, both of Houma; his grandparents, Don and Ramona Tipton of Houma; his aunts, Cheryl Tipton, Tina Dudek and Gwenda Martin, all of Houma; his nephews, Matthew Rotolo, Joshua Rotolo and nephew and godchild, Luke Rotolo; and numerous cousins and lots of friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Larry Wayne Thomas; and his grandparents, J.W. Thomas and Ruby Thomas Bohanan.
He was a pressure controller for Warrior Energy Service and a member of First United Methodist Church.
