Emily Marie Aycock Fanguy, 77, a native and resident of Houma, died at 12:24 a.m. Friday, Sept. 5, 2008.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Thursday at St. Francis de Sales Cathedral. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the church, with burial in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2.
She is survived by her husband, Raymond Paul Fanguy; five sons, Randy, Rory, Eric, Douglas and David Fanguy; five daughters, Deborah Ellender, Pamela Pitre, Elizabeth Trahan, Emily Elliott and Allison Fanguy; four brothers, Bennett, Myron, Basil and Michael Aycock; two sisters, Pauline Guidry and Janice Aycock; 27 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry Albert Aycock and Pearl Frisella Aycock; one son, R. Paul Fanguy; and one brother, Albert Aycock.
She was a homemaker and a parishioner of St. Francis de Sales Cathedra.
