Gloria Baker Palmisano

Gloria "Jean" Baker Palmisano, 61, native of Opelika, Alabama and reisdent of Houma, died Thursday, July 31 2008. Visitation will be 9:00 A.M. till funeral time, Monday August 4, 2008 at Chauvin Funeral Home. Mass will be at 11:00 A.M., Monday, August 4, 2008 at Chauvin Funeral Home Chapel, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery. She is survived by her companion, Richard Bienvenu, two sons, Joseph Palmisano and wife; Stacie Palmisano of Bourg and Anthony Palmisano and wife; Dawn Palmisano of Houma; one daughter, Jeana P. Schwab and husband; Dr. Donald Schwab of Houma; one brother, Scotty Baker of California; one sister, Glenda Bergeron of Picayune, MS: also survived by six grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Ralph Baker and Helen Cain Baker. She was a retired Travel Agent and a volunteer for CASA also a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
