Susan Renee Harwood, 50, died Saturday, May 3, 2014. She was a native of Amarillo, Tx and resident of Houma, LA.  Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 7, 2014 from 4:00PM until service time at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc.A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, May 7, 2014 at 7:00PM at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc..  She is survived by herson, Shaun Harwood and companion Carissia Gregoire of Houma, La; daughter, Stefanie Holmes and husband James of Mobile, Al; granddaughter, Savanna Holmes. She was preceded in death by herparents, Jay and Esther Thurston. Susan loved to read and spend time with her grand daughter. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend who will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
