Camille Duplantis, Sr.

Camille Joseph Duplantis Sr., 89, died Wednesday, April 9, 2014. He was a native of Four Point, LA and resident of Houma, LA.   Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 10, 2014 from 5:00pm to 9:00pm at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. and Friday, April 11, 2014 from 8:00am to 10:00am at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, April 11, 2014 at 10:00am at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church.Burial: Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Cemetery   He is survived by his,Sons: Donald Duplantis and wife Kathy, Camille Duplantis Jr. and companion Jerry Hebert, David Duplantis, Daughters: Barbara Buquet and husband Chicky, Sue Duplantis Poiencot and husband Chris, Brothers: Bud Duplantis and wife Norma, Pat Duplantis and wife Thelma, Camille is also survived by nine grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by hisSpouse: Merline DeRoche Duplantis Parents: Gibert Duplantis and Josephine LeBlanc Dupantis Brother: Luke Duplantis, Sisters: Edith Eschete, Leedee Harris,  He was a parishioner of Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church.  Camille was a harder working person. He loved to work in his garden. He also enjoyed meeting people while he worked at Wal-Mart. He was loved by all who met him and will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
