Russell James Pourciau, 54, died Friday, January 31, 2014 at 10:45 PM. He was a native of New Orleans, LA and resident of Houma, LA. Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 2, 2014 from 3:00pm to 9:00pm at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. and Monday, February 3, 2014 from 8:00am to 10:00am at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. Liturgy of the Word will be held on Monday, February 3, 2014 at 10:00am at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. Burial: St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #2. He is survived by his, Parents: Raphael and Ethel Gravois Pourciau, Son: Chase Pourciau, Brother: Glen Pourciau and wife Linda Lane, Sisters: Deborah Ledford and Mary Norris and husband Benjy, and Former Wife: Rhonda Bergeron Pourciau. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his, Brother: Stephen Pourciau. He was a parishioner of Maria Immacolata Catholic Church. Russell loved to spend time with his family and friends. He was an avid fisherman. He passed peacefully after a lenghty illness. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
