Joseph "Toot" Lawrence Rodrigue

Joseph "Toot" Lawrence Rodrigue, 61, a native of Dulac and resident of Houma, died at 3:30 p.m. Friday, June 20, 2008. Visitation will be from 4 to 10 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. to funeral time Monday at Chauvin Funeral Home. Religious service will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home chapel with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery. He is survived by his companion, Eula Terrebonne of Golden Meadow; three daughters, Yelonda Dean Franklin and husband, James, of Raceland, Elvina Rodrigue Gregoire and husband, Joshua, and Lauren Casey Rodrigue and companion, Kevin Knapp Jr., of Houma; two brothers, Jessie Verdin of Houma and Paul Verdin of Texas City, Texas; four sisters, Verna Verdin, Mary Clark, Norma Dardar and Celina Dardar of Houma; and four grandchildren, Ashley Kaye Franklin, Alyssa Marie Franklin, Kamree Alexis Gregoire and Ivey Rae’ Knapp. He was preceded in death by his mother, Daisy Rodrigue.
