Clinton "C.G." Keplinger Jr., 63, a native of Gentilly and resident of Houma, died at 4:20 p.m. Thursday, June 19, 2008.
Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. to funeral time Monday at St. Anthony Catholic Church. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the church with burial in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 1.
He is survived by his wife, Jean Ellen Stuzman Keplinger of Houma; his mother, Evelyn Ledet Keplinger Belanger of Houma; three sons, Clinton "Kep" Keplinger III and significant other, Danielle Aucoin, Yancy Keplinger and wife, Christine, and Eric Keplinger and wife, Becky, of Houma; one sister, Melissa Belanger of Houma; and nine grandchildren, Clinton "T.C." Keplinger IV, Sonny Keplinger, Cade Keplinger, Cody Keplinger, Taylor Keplinger, Makenna Keplinger, Jaze, Tyler and Macie.
He was preceded in death by his father, Clinton George Keplinger Sr.; his grandparents Marie and Leonce Ledet; his stepfather, Leland Belanger; and one sister, Connie Grezaffi.
He was a welder and former member of the U.S. National Guard.
He was a parishioner of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Bayou Black.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society for Lung Research.
