Perry Lewis Ford Sr., 78, a native and resident of Houma, died at 6:10 a.m. Saturday, June 21, 2008.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Monday at Chauvin Funeral Home. Liturgy of the Word will be at 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home with burial in Holy Rosary Cemetery.
He is survived by one son, Perry Lewis Ford Jr. and wife, Mary, of Lockport; one daughter, Terry Martin of Lockport; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Percy Ford and Lottie Chauvin Ford; and one brother, Maxwell J. Ford.
He was a retired supervisor with Chevron and a U.S. Marine veteran.
