Leon Joseph St.Martin

Leon Joseph St. Martin, 50, a native and resident of Houma, died at 11:10 a.m. Thursday, June 19, 2008. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today at Chauvin Funeral Home and from 9 a.m. to funeral time Saturday at St. Eloi Catholic Church. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery. He is survived by his wife, Cheryl Duplantis St. Martin of Houma; one daughter, Nikki St. Martin Daigle and husband, Kevin Daigle, of Houma; five brothers, Roy St. Martin Jr. of Alabama, Robert Blackwell Jr., Barry Blackwell, Bernard St. Martin, Willard St. Martin and Dr. William St. Martin of Houma; and four grandchildren, Kaitlyn Daigle, Alexis Daigle, Haleigh Daigle and Brayden Daigle. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dr. Roy J. St. Martin and Jeanne Theriot St. Martin. He was a Bail Bondsmen with St. Martin Bonding Service. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, camper and motorcyclist. He was a parishioner of St. Eloi Catholic Church.
