James Patrick Chauvin

James Patrick Chauvin, 55, a native and resident of Houma, died at 4:25 p.m. Friday, June 6, 2008. Visitation will be from 8:30 a.m. until funeral time Monday at St. Francis de Sales Cathedral. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Monday at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 1. He is survived by his parents, Bert Chauvin and Alice Worden Chauvin of Houma; one brother, John L. Chauvin of Houma; one sister, Angela C. Cicero of Houma; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one brother, Bert J. Chauvin Jr.; grandparents, N.C. and Alice Aitken Worden and Louis J. and Mabel Engeron Chauvin. He was a machinist and a parishioner of St. Francis de Sales Cathedral.
