John Fitzhugh Morris, 31, a native and resident of Houma, died Thursday, June 5, 2008.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday and 1 p.m. until the funeral time Tuesday at Mulberry Baptist Church. Religious services will be 3 p.m. Tuesday at the church.
He is survived by his parents, John D. Morris and Barbara Fitzhugh Morris of Houma; two brothers, Matthew Hudson Morris and Richard Addison Morris, both of Houma; girlfriend, Angie Brown of Houma; aunts and uncles, Robert and Jan Fitzhugh, of Winnetka, Ill., James and Linda Fitzhugh, of Katy, Texas, Claudia Morris Quate and Scott Quate, of Houma, Robert and Linda Morris, of Baton Rouge, Harold Green and Dianne Green, of Ocala, Fla.; cousins, Max Frost, of Houma, Grant Morris, of Nashua, N.H., Jaime Fitzhugh, of Washington, D.C., Lauren Fitzhugh, of Charleston, S.C., Scott Fitzhugh, David Fitzhugh, of Katy, Emily Masini, of Sarasota, Fla., William Green, of Libertyville, Ill., Robert Green, of Ocala; and many dear friends and their children.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Robert R. Fitzhugh and Marjorie Hudson Fitzhugh, H.A. "Pug" Morris and Medora Morris.
He managed Exploration Supplies and had certifications in Fixed Wing and Rotary Aircraft. He attended Terrebonne High School and University of Southeastern Louisiana. He was a member of Mulberry Baptist Church.
