Marie Louise Rhodes Thibodeaux, 70, a native and resident of Houma, died at 9:08 a.m. Thursday, May 22, 2008. Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Chauvin Funeral Home in Houma and from 8:30 a.m. to funeral time Wednesday at Holy Family Catholic Church. Mass will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery. She is survived by her husband, Merlin Thibodeaux of Houma; one son, Kevin A. Thibodeaux of Dulac; two daughters, Anita T. Granier and husband, Nolan, and Monica T. Boudreaux and husband, Mitch, of Houma; four grandchildren, Hannah Bourg, Sadie Bourg, Ashley Granier and Tessy Barlow; and one great-grandchild, Adriana Barlow. She is preceded in death by her parents, Stewart Rhodes and Louise Buquet Rhodes. She was a parishioner and retired office manager at Holy Family Catholic Church. She belonged to the Ladies Auxiliary for the Knights of Columbus No. 7722. She was a former treasurer of the Holy Name Society and Eucharistic Minister, Pastoral Council.
