Fazie Domangue Guidry, 82, a native of Little Caillou and resident of Houma, entered into eternal peace at 5:45 a.m. Tuesday, April 22, 2008.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. today at Chauvin Funeral Home and from 11 a.m. to funeral time Thursday at Annunziata Catholic Church. Mass will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at the church, with burial in Holy Rosary Cemetery.
She is survived by one daughter, Judy Guidry; one son, Wilbert Guidry and wife, Mary; two granddaughters, Hope Leger and husband, Austin, and Brandy Authement and husband, Travis; three great-grandchildren, Travis Jr., Jamie and Madison; one step-granddaughter, Mary Margaret White; two step-great-grandchildren, John Leger Jr. and Jake Leger; one step-great-great-grandchild, Braedon Leger; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbert F. Guidry; her parents, Antoine and Daisy Lirette Domangue; four brothers, Vanis Domangue, Avery Domangue, Thaddeus Domangue and Magnus Domangue; and one sister, Wynona Domangue.
She was a homemaker and a member of A.W. Connley Chapter of Order of Eastern Stars, Annunziata Ladies Altar Society and the American Legion Post No. 31 Ladies Auxiliary.
She was a parishioner of Annunziata Catholic Church.
