Henry Paul Olivier, 88, a native of Houma and resident of Schriever, died at 8:17 p.m. Saturday, April 19, 2008.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Wednesday at St. Bridget Catholic Church. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery.
He is survived by two sons, Wendell Olivier and wife, Teri, of Geneva, Switzerland, and Glenn Olivier and wife, Patricia, of Schriever; two daughters, Meryl Roundtree and husband, Leo, of Spokene, Wash., and Sheila Olivier of Houma; one sister, Mae St. Marie of Houma; two grandchildren, Michael Olivier and wife, Jill, and Brent Roundtree; one son-in-law, Robert Naquin of Stockton, Calif.; one brother-in-law, Henry "Tiger" Clement of Houma; and two sisters-in-law, Winona Posecai Olivier and Betty Hebert Olivier.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ida M. Freeman Olivier; his parents, Joseph Olivier and Eliza Marcel Olivier; one daughter, Linda Naquin; five brothers, Berwick, Randolph, Tom, Abbie and Edward Olivier; two sisters, Josie Bollinger and Dorothy Clement; three sisters-in-law, Dolly Babin Olivier, Ollie Lee Faulkner Olivier and Theresa Detiveaux Olivier; and two brothers-in-law, Malcolm Bollinger and Alexander St. Marie.
He was a retired school bus driver with Terrebonne Parish School Board, a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II and a farmer.
He was a parishioner of St. Bridget Catholic Church.
