Agnes Kennedy

Agnes Daspit Kennedy, 97, died Wednesday, July 17, 2013 at 9:30 PM. She was a retired school teacher and a native and resident of Houma, LA. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, August 3, 2013 at the Cathedral of St. Francis de Sales. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until service time. Burial will follow at Magnolia Cemetery. She is survived by her sisters, Katharine Daspit and Louise Daspit Geary of New Orleans and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, R.L. "Mike" Kennedy, daughter, Elisabeth Wright Steigner Schmitt, parents, Robert Valentine Daspit and Margaret Lee Butler Daspit, brothers, Robert Daspit, Jr., John Daspit, Woodson Daspit, sisters, Carolyn Daspit McMurry, Annie B. Daspit. In lieu of flowers, masses or donations to the charity of your choice are preferred.
