Donald Wayne Burson, 77, died Saturday, April 20, 2013 at 9:18 PM. He was a native of Atlanta, TX and resident of Houma, LA. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 23, 2013 from 9:00 AM until service time at First Baptist Church of Houma Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, April 23, 2013 at 11:00 AM at First Baptist Church of Houma. Burial: Garden of Memories Cemetery He is survived by his wife, Kathy Neugent Burson, Houma, LA, sons, Dwayne Burson, Houma, LA, Darrin S. Burson and wife Trisha, Houma, LA, David N. Davis, Houma, LA, Douglas M. Davis and wife Nancy, Houma, LA, daughters, Donna Garcia, Ahmy Davis Powell, Tampa, FL, grandchildren, Dylan Garcia, Schae Burson, Brandon Burson, Kayla Davis, Kylan Davis, Natalie Frederick and husband Barrym Nikki Miller, Mark Guidry, Jr. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarice Edwin and Norma King Burson, son, George A. Davis, brother, Billy Bob Burson. Donald was a member of First Baptist Church of Houma and a member of the Sugarland Country Club. He retired from Texaco as a supervisor after 37 years. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the First Baptist Church Building Fund.
