Genevieve Marie Colwart Faucheaux

Genieve Marie Colwart Faucheaux, 73, a native and resident of Houma, died at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 29, 2008. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Monday at Chauvin Funeral Home and from 9 a.m. to funeral time Tuesday at St. Bernadette Catholic Church. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church with burial in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2. She is survived by two sons, John Ezra Faucheaux III and wife, Donna, and Rene Faucheaux and wife, Naomi, of Houma; three daughters, Cora Lee Fitch and husband, David, Jean Salinas and husband, Joe, and Judy Arceneaux and husband, Terry, of Houma; two sisters, Mary Lee Trahan and husband, Randall, and Diana "Susie" Edwards of Houma; 10 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Ezra Faucheaux Jr.; and her parents, Alvin Joseph Colwart and Doris Marie Duplantis Colwart; She was a homemaker and a parishioner of St. Bernadette Catholic Church.
