James “Nubby” “Wildman” Anthony Ordone, 49, died Monday, December 31, 2012 at 3:10 PM. He was a native and resident of Houma, LA. Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 3, 2013 from 5:00 PM until 10:00 PM at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. and Friday, January 4, 2013 from 10:30 AM until service time at Annunziata Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, January 4, 2013 at 1:00 PM at Annunziata Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Cemetery. He is survived by his wife, Cynthia Solet Ordone, Houma, LA, sons, Scott James Bergeron, Jace "Bucket" Ordone, daughters, Chasity Melancon Triche and husband Mark Anthony Triche, II, Madeline "Maddy" Ordone and companion Robert "Rob" Dorsey, grandchildren, Haydan Keith Belanger, Brylane Gage Melancon, Koahen Anthony Triche, brother, Don Rodrigue, sisters, Zelma Louviere, Emma Matthews, Bernadette Ordone, half brother, David Lebouef, half sisters, Jessica Lirette, Beatrice Cadiere, Roberta Lebouef, eight step brothers and sisters. He was preceded in death by his father, Adam Ordone, mother, Marie Madeline Lombos Lebouef, sister, Rosalean Ordone, father in law, John Abbie Solet, mother in law, Rita "Mim" Solet. He was a parishioner of Annunziata Catholic Church. He was a truck driver for twenty years. He was a third degree Knights of Columbus member. He was a well known TPR football and softball coach. He was also involved in school activities with his children. He enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren who were his pride and joy. He always enjoyed Barbeques and seafood boils with family and friends. He was a loving and caring husband, father, grandfather and brother and never met a stranger.
