Courtney Drury

Courtney Nicole Drury, 14, a life long native of Houma left us for a better place on Monday, December 31, 2012. Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 3, 2013 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. and Friday, January 4, 2013 from 9:00 AM until service time at St. Bernadette Soubirous Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, January 4, 2013 at 11:00 AM at St. Bernadette Soubirous Catholic Church. Burial will follow at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #2 She is survived by her parents, David Drury and Beth Daanen Drury; sister, Ashley Drury; brother, Brady Drury; grandparents, Peggy Drury and Judith Vanatta; aunts and uncles, Greg and Raye Drury, Kurt and Tessa Drury, Carol and Chris Bonvillain, James and Ilene Daanen and Amy Daanen. She was a freshman at Vandebilt Catholic High School and was a member of the Junior Varsity Dance Team and a life long dancer at Tina Chauvin’s School of Dance.. She is loved and missed by her many friends and family. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made at Synergy Bank for Courtney Drury’s memorial fund. Proceeds will be directed to the construction of the Terrebonne Parish Animal Shelter to honor her love of animals.
