Barry "Duck" LeBlanc

Barry “Duck” Andrew LeBlanc, 59, died Monday, December 17, 2012. He was a native of Terrebonne Parish, LA and resident of Chauvin, LA. Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 20, 2012 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. Friday, December 21, 2012 from 9:00 AM until service time at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. Liturgy of the Word will be held on Friday, December 21, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc.. Burial will follow at St. Elie Cemetery. He is survived by his brothers, Alvin "A.J." LeBlanc and companion Leesa Voss, Green Forest, AR, Eugene LeBlanc and wife Esmerelda, Midland, TX, Dale LeBlanc, Chauvin, LA, Darry "Duck" LeBlanc, Chauvin, LA, sisters, Eunice "Sis" Cangelosi and husband Nick, Houma, LA, Joyce DeHart and husband Leroy, Chauvin, LA, Shirley Guy and husband Eugene, Grand Calliou, LA, Caroline Trosclair and husband John Benny, Chauvin, LA, Sandra Huthinson and husband Kevin, Houma, LA and numerous nieces and nephews who loved him very much. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alvin Joseph LeBlanc, Sr. and Eunice Cecil LeBoeuf LeBlanc, brothers, Frances LeBlanc, Charles LeBlanc, Carroll LeBlanc, Druis LeBlanc, Sr., Ronald LeBlanc, sisters, Rita LeBouef, Kathy Ledet. He was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church. He never met someone who wasn’t a friend and everybody he knew loved him. The family would like to thank Haydel Memorial Hospice, his nurse practioner Nancy Warren, all the staff at Dr. Cinnater and Dr. Dupont's office, all the people at The Terrebonne Mental Health Center and all of his friends and family who came to visit him.
