Richard Hebert

Richard Lawrence Hebert, 75, died Friday, December 14, 2012 at 4:55 AM. He was a native and resident of Bayou Dularge, Louisiana. Visitation will be held on Monday, December 17, 2012 from 9:00 AM until Service time at St. Eloi Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, December 17, 2012 at 10:30 AM at St. Eloi Catholic Church. He is survived by his, Wife of 54 years, Yvonne Porche Hebert, Children, Mark Thomas Hebert and wife Karen, Maria Chaisson and husband Joey, Michael Richard Hebert and wife Sandy, Matthew Patrick Hebert and wife Charlotte, Madlyn Marcel and husband Steven, Martin Joseph Hebert and wife Rebecca, 29 Grandchildren and 11 Great Grandchildren Sister, Germaine Hebert Theriot and husband Roy, Brother in law, Paul Porche and wife Amy, Sisters in law, Mary Alice Porche and Sue Porche, numerous nieces and nephews and numerous friends that became family. He was preceded in death by his, Parents, Lawrence Joseph Hebert and Adele Champagne Hebert Grand daughter, Frankie Marie Hebert. He was a parishioner of St. Eloi Catholic Church. Richard was active in his church parish and community. He was a fourth degree Knight of Columbus. He was a carpenter, welder, shrimper and gardener and a master of all trades. His favorite pasttime was playing Santa Claus. He was a loving and wonderful husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather and by far this was his greatest accomplishment.
