Lucia LeBoeuf Matherne, 83, died Monday, December 3, 2012 at 5:43 PM. She was a native and resident of Pointe Aux Chenes, LA. Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 6, 2012 from 9:30 AM until Service time at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, December 6, 2012 at 12:00 PM at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. Interment: St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church Cemetery. She is survived by her, Children, Patsy M. Toups and husband Larry "Duke" Toups of Thibodaux, Doris M. Duplantis and husband Duffy Duplantis, Sr of Houma, Nolan P. Matherne, Jr and wife Donna Matherne of Chauvin, Dinah M. Payne and husband James "Jim" Payne of Fort Mill, SC, Trudy M. Matherne and husband Elson Matherne, Jr of Houma, Sonia M. Pellegrin and husband Thomas "Peanut" Pellegrin, Jr of Houma, 16 Grandchildren, Tania Toups Benoit, Wendy Toups Caronna, Grace Toups Foreman, Shana-Rhea Duplantis Bergeron, Duffy "DJ" Duplantis, Jr, Andre' Matherne, John Matherne, Tate Matherne, Ashley Rodrigue, Franny Matherne, Brandi Matherne, Blake “Smiles” Pellegrin, James Payne, Michelle Escoto, Jeffery Payne and Samantha Payne, 13 Great Grandchildren, Special niece, Beverly M. Miller of Choctaw. She was preceded in death by her, Husband, Nolan P. Matherne, Sr Parents, Oleous LeBoeuf and Amelia Naquin LeBoeuf, Son, David P. Matherne, Brother, Emile LeBoeuf. She was a parishioner of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. She was an Executive Committee Board Member of American Legion Auxilliary Kenneth C. Boudreaux Unit 380. She loved to crochet, quilt and sew. She especially enjoyed being outdoors.
