Evans “Bud” “Brother” Paul Thibodaux, Jr. , 85, died Wednesday, November 28, 2012 at 9:25 PM.
He was a native of Bayou Blue, LA and resident of Gibson, LA.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 30, 2012 from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. and Saturday, December 1, 2012 from 8:00 AM until service time at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc.
Liturgy of the Word will be held on Saturday, December 1, 2012 at 10:00 AM at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc..
Burial will follow at St. Louis Catholic Church Cemetery.
He is survived by his
daughters, Patricia Thibodaux Naquin, Felicia Thibodaux Meche and husband Mike Meche, son, Gene Thibodaux,
grandchildren, grandchildren, Johnny Naquin, Jr., Evans Naquin, Frankie Solet, Wendy Taylor Folmar, Catherine Taylor Fousse, Sandy Bader, Christopher Thibodaux, Kristen Turner, Lauren Moore,
sixteen great grandchildren, four great great grandchildren,
sisters, Aline Duplantis, Audrey Hebert and Marjorie Foret.
He was preceded in death by his
wife, Flavia Lucille Marcel Thibodaux,
parents, Evans Paul Thibodaux, Sr. and Onezia Porche Thibodaux,
aunt, Amelia Porche Robinson, son, Evans Paul Thibodaux, III,
son in law, Johnny Naquin, Sr. and grandson, Sean Turner.
Mr. Evans was a parishioner of St. Louis Catholic Church. He enjoyed singing classic country and cajun tunes with his best friends for family and friends.
He was the President of the Happy Mixer's Bowling League for several years.
He was a farmer and an automechanic. He loved his children and grandchildren with his whole heart.
