Peggy Davis Henry, 79, a native and resident of Houma, died Saturday afternoon, November 24, 2012. Visitation will be at Chauvin Funeral Home in Houma on Tuesday, November 27, 2012 from 5:00pm to 9:00pm and Wednesday November 28, 2012 from 9:00am to funeral time at Annunziata Catholic Church in Houma LA. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00am at Annunziata Catholic Church and interment will follow at St. Francis de Sales #2 Cemetery. Peggy is survived by her husband of 57 years, Kenneth Charles "K.C." Henry, of Houma; her son Mark Henry and wife Bette; her son David Henry and wife Dawn; her daughter Sharon Henry all of Houma LA; her daughter Patricia Wojahn and husband David of Centennial, CO; her daughter Mary "Liz" Matherne and husband Ronnie of Clinton, LA. She is also survived by her grandchildren; Scotti Henry, Brandon Henry, Jennifer Henry and her husband Daniel, Lauren Henry, Robert Wojahn and his wife Whitney, Amanda Wojahn, Crystal Pellegrin and husband Jeremiah, and Shawn Lucas. She is also survived by 5 great grandchildren. Peggy is also survived by one sister Kerry Davis of Houma LA. She was preceded in death by her, She was preceded in death by her parents Captain George Davis and Marguerite Babin Davis, one sister Mary Davis Herrmann, and one brother Richard Davis. Peggy served as Terrebonne Parish Registrar of Voters for 15 years and was a longtime member of the Krewe of Hyacinthians, serving as both president and vice-president of the organization. Peggy's family would like to thank her care givers: Dr. Russell Henry, Bayou Home Care, St. Katherine's Hospice and Home Instead.
