Earl McElroy Sr., 92, a resident of Houma, died Saturday, November 24, 2012. Visitation will be from 8:30am to funeral time on Tuesday, November 27, at Maria Immacolata Catholic Church. Funeral mass will be at 10:00am with burial to follow at Holy Rosary Cemetery. He is survived by his children, Earl McElroy Jr. and wife Julie, Bryan McElroy and wife Kathy, Sheila McElroy Guidry and husband Wayne, and Maureen McElroy LeCompte, one brother Felix McElroy Sr. and his wife Lucy, and grandchildren Ruby LeCompte, Robin LeCompte Lapeyrouse, Tracy LeCompte, Jason Sanner, Christopher Sanner, Benjamin McElroy, Roxane McElroy Webster, Myron McElroy, Stacie McElroy Lirette, Garrett McElroy, Dustin McElroy, and Misty Leigh McElroy, great-grandchildren Christopher Webster, Shane Webster, Emma Lapeyrouse, Joseph Lapeyrouse, Heather Lirette, Holden Lirette, Aaron McElroy, Devin McElroy, Tyler McElroy, Mykayleigh McElroy, and Taylor Bowen. He was preceded in death by his, He was preceded in death by his first wife Doris Ledet McElroy, his second wife Melvina Redmond McElroy, his parents Victor McElroy Sr. and Cecelia McElroy and his stepmother Ophelia McElroy, his brothers Victor McElroy Jr,, and Carson McElroy Sr., and his sisters Ruby McElroy LeBoeuf and Odit "Dee" McElroy Gautreaux and son-in-law Louis "Butch" LeCompte Jr. He was a parishioner of Maria Immacolata Catholic Church.
