Ruth Bonvillain

Ruth Andras Lambert Bonvillain, 82, died Sunday, November 18, 2012 at 1:35 AM. She was a native of Thibodaux, LA and resident of Houma, LA. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 20, 2012 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. and Wednesday, November 21, 2012 from 8:00 AM until service time at St. Louis Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, November 21, 2012 at 10:00 AM at St. Louis Catholic Church. Burial: St. Louis Catholic Church Cemetery. She is survived by her, husband, Geneal Joseph Bonvillain, Houma, LA, sons, Buddy Paul Lambert and wife Ramona, Houma, LA, Al Joseph Lambert and wife Kayla, Thibodaux, LA, daughters, Sylvia Lambert Bonvillain and husband Emile, Houma, LA, Terry Lambert Findorff and husband Patrick, Houma, LA, seven grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, one great great grandchild and two on the way, brothers, Robert Andras, Bobby Andras, Cherry Andras, sister, Anita Guidry. She was preceded in death by her, first husband, Lester Paul "Pop" Lambert, parents, Acklin Andras and Hilda Boudreaux Andras, brothers, Norman Andras and Herman Andras. She was a parishioner of St. Louis Catholic Church. She was a member of the Ladies Auxillary at St. Louis Church for many years. She was an outstanding mother, grandmother and friend and member of the community. She was very giving and always put a smile on everyone's face. She loved Jesus and her family. She will be missed by all and our Birthdays will not be the same without her Pecan Cakes. The fmaily would like to thank Terrebonne General Medical Center's staff and Cardiovascular Institute of the South for their years of care. A special thanks also to the St. Louis church community.
