Aurelia Pitre

Aurelia Galliano Pitre, 91, died Friday, October 19, 2012. She was a native of Cut Off, LA and resident of Houma, LA. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 23, 2012 from 9:00 AM until service time at St. Gregory Barbarigo Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, October 23, 2012 at 11:00 AM at St. Gregory Barbarigo Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Terrebonne Memorial Park. She is survived by her sons, Jean Pitre and wife Marilyn, Daniel J. Pitre and wife Ruth, Edward Pitre, Jr. and wife Margaret, Ricky Pitre and wife Vera, daughter, Judy Darcey Brown and husband Gerald, twenty six grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward J. Pitre, Sr. parents, Paul Galliano and Euphemia Smith Galliano, sons, Sterling Pitre, Larry Pitre, Jerry pitre, daughter, Lerna Picou, son in law, Jessie Darcey, brothers, Gibson Galliano, Nelton Galliano, Anthony Galliano, Jefferson Galliano, Sr., sister, Bella Boudreaux. She was a parishioner of St. Gregory Barbarigo Catholic Church. She worked for Mr. Mickey Brown for eight years. She enjoyed fishing, gardening and sewing. She was the family Barber.
