Clarence John Fitch Sr., 89, died Friday, October 12, 2012 at 9:00 PM. He was a native of Terrebonne Parish, LA and resident of Houma, LA. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 16, 2012 from 5:00PM to 9:00PM at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. and Wednesday, October 17, 2012 from 9:00AM to 11:00AM at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, October 17, 2012 at 11:00AM at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Burial: Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Cemetery. He is survived by his, Sons: Nolan and wife Lisa Fitch, Leroy and wife Veronica Fitch , Carl and wife Debbie Fitch, a Clarence Jr. and wife Roxanne Fitch, Larry Fitch, Kerry and wife Monica Fitch, and Barry Fitch. Daughters: Helen Fitch , Judy Fitch Wendy Fitch Verdin and husband John, Melissa Fitch and fiance' Mark ,Daughter-in-law: Linda Fitch and late husband Kenneth Brothers: Roy Fitch and late wife Merle, Kirby Fitch and late wife Ethel, Sisters in Law: Vivian Fitch and late husband Herbert, Grandchildren: 38 Great Grandchildren: 49 and Great Great Grandchildren: 6. He was preceded in death by his, Spouse: Hattie Cecile Smith Fitch, Parents: Ovide Fitch and Aida Trahan Fitch, Sons: Edward Fitch, Terry Fitch, Michael Fitch and Garry Fitch , Brothers: Joseph Fitch (Elda), Cyril Fitch (Helen), Lindsey Fitch (Nora) and Adam Fitch (Harriet), Sisters: Jeanette Lirette (Paul) Mabel Fitch Carvello, daughter: Antoinette Turoe, Grandchildren: 2 and Great Grandchildren: 1. He was a parishioner of Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church. He was a wonderful father, and a hard working man who loved his children dearly. He will be missed by his family and friends.
