Mary Karen Williams, 64, died Thursday, October 4, 2012 at 6:35 AM.
She was a native of Houma, LA and resident of Houma, LA.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 8, 2012 from 9:00 AM until service time at St. Francis de Sales Cathedral. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, October 8, 2012 at 11:00 AM at St. Francis de Sales Cathedral.

She is survived by her
brothers, Reuben Williams and wife Dianne, Frank Williams, Kit Williams, Stephen Williams and wife Suzan,
nieces and nephews, Allison Bungard and husband David, Jennifer Zabierek and husband Peter, Amy Williams, Michelle Matta and husband Mark, Peter Williams, Sara Williams, Elise Williams, Seth Williams,
great nieces and nephews, Henry and Benjamin Zabierek, Andrew Bungard, Brayden and Brianna Verdin.
She was preceded in death by her
parents, Frank H. Williams, Sr. and Corinne Boudreaux Williams.
She was a parishioner of St. Francis de Sales Cathedral.
Mary was a member of Phi Mu Sorority and a past member of the Krewe of Hyacinthians. She received her Bachelor's Degree, Master's Degree and plus 30 from Nicholls State University. She retired from the Terrebonne Parish School System after 33 years as a teacher and Guidance Counselor. She was a Sponsor of the H.L. Bourgeois Raindancers for many years in addition to a Sophomore Class Sponsor, Free Enterprise Week Sponsor and National Honor Society Sponsor. Mary was also a lifetime member of the Terrebonne High School Alumni Assocation. The family would like to thank Haydel Memorial Hospice and the ladies who assisted during her illness.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital or Haydel Memorial Hospice.
