Mary Ann Domangue Bergeron, 74, died Sunday, September 30, 2012 at 4:40 PM. She was a native of Houma, LA and resident of Houma, LA. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 3, 2012 from 9:30 AM until service time at First Baptist Church of Houma. Funeral service will begin at 1:00 PM at First Baptist Church of Houma. She is survived by her, husband, Wilbert "Buddy" J. Bergeron, Jr., Houma, LA, daughters, Melissa Valure and husband Ricky, Sr., Patti DeRoche and husband Jim, Kristi Soignet and husband Bernard "Joe", Jr., sons, Ralph Bergeron and Kevin Bergeron and fiance' Gretchen Pellegrin, brothers, Albert Domangue, Stanley Domangue, grandchildren, Jessica Valure Bordelon and husband Joey, Jenny Valure McGuire and husband Robert, Ricky Valure and wife Parrish, Ross Valure, Lacey Usey Cressoine and husband Wesley, Laura Usey Roddy and husband Ryan, Taylor Usey and fiance' Fallon Ellender, Nicole Soignet Fenton and husband Daniel, B.J. Soignet and fiance' Rachel Rodriguez, Francis Bergeron and wife Sarah, Keith Bergeron and fiance' Macy Martinez, Brenda Deroche Ledet and husband Lloyd, Jimmy Deroche, great grandchildren, Breanna Pitts, Emily and Ali Bordelon, Callie, Kirstin, Kaden and Chloe McGuire, Morgan and Isabella Valure, Brice and Elijah Valure, Cassidy, Lorilei and Addison Cressoine, Alex Roddy, Wyatt and Therin Fenton, Dakota Soignet, Gabrielle Hayes and Camren Ledet, She was preceded in death by her, parents, John M. Domangue and Leonise Marcel Domangue, mother and father in law, W.J. and Edith Adams Bergeron, grandchild, Shannon Bergeron, great grandchild, Lyla Valure. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Houma. Mary was a homemaker in every since of the word. She was a loving and devoted wife (of nearly 55 years) mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She enjoyed traveling, collecting doubloons, dolls and nutcrackers, shopping and gardening. She and Buddy also opened their home to dozens of foster children. Mary devoted her life to teaching and loving young children. She taught Sunday school, VBS, and weekday preschool. Her life's mission was to tell others about the awesome God she loved and faithfully served. Her family is eternally grateful to Dr. Dickie Haydel, Tammy, Kristy, Debra, Carol and the entire staff of Haydel Memorial Hospice for all the tender loving care given to Mary. In lieu of flowers, Mary's request was donations be made to Haydel Memorial Hospice, 1011 Verrett Street, Houma, Louisiana 70360.
