Dudley Joseph Freeman, 77, died Thursday, September 27, 2012 at 4:46PM. He was a native of Houma, LA and resident of Golden Meadow, LA. Visitation will be held on from at Monday, October 1, 2012 from 9:00 AM until service time at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, October 1, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church. Inurnment: St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #2 He is survived by his, wife, Billie Jean McCaa Freeman, Golden Meadow, LA, sons, Bobby G. Ellender, Jr. and wife Stacy, daughters, Penny Freeman Crosby and husband Franklin, Angela Marie Freeman, Aimee Ellender Carnahan and husband Steven, "Curtain Climbers", Gary "Boogie" Plaisance, III, Ima Crosby, Bayleen Freeman, Lenna Pitre, Tyler Crosby, Catlyn Freeman, Brayden Carnahan, Amber Blanco, Casey Blanco. He was preceded in death by his, parents, Dalton Freeman and Gracie Guidry Freeman, brothers, Jerald Freeman, Robert Freeman, sister, Marilyn Freeman. He was a member/parishioner of Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church. He was a manager and salesman for USA Labor. He retired from Baker Hughes. He served in the United States Army. He was a member of the Lafourche Shrine Club. He was an honorary Mason and was the past chief of the Port Fourchon Fire Department. He was also an Auxiliary Harbor Policeman. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Lafourche Shrine Club or the Shriners Hospital for Children.
