James Carl Deaux, 88, died Sunday, September 23, 2012 at 8:30 AM. He was a native of Quentin, MS and resident of Houma, LA. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 25, 2012 from 9:00 AM until service time at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, September 25, 2012 at 10:00 AM at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc.. Burial: Terrebonne Memorial Park He is survived by his, wife, Norma Kinnison Deaux, Houma, LA, daughters, Cheryl Pellegrin, Houma, LA, Pam Deaux, Houma, LA, son, Jeff Phillips, Efland, NC, grandchildren, Timothy Pellegrin, Kimberly Pellegrin, great grandchildren, Brittany Pellegrin, Cheyenne Kerbo, Ross Hebert, great great grandchildren, Branson Luke, Bryden Luke and Zaine Naquin and his faithful companion "Pickles." He was preceded in death by his, parents, Nelson Deaux and Bessie Linder Deaux He was a member of Coteau Baptist Church. He served in the United States Army during World War II. He was a member of the Gideons. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Gideons International.
