Marion Joyce Toups Henry a native of New Orleans and resident of Houma died at 3:00am on September 7, 2012. Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 9, 2012 from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. and Monday, September 10, 2012 from 8:00 AM until service time at First Presbyterian Church Funeral Service will begin at 10:00 AM at First Presbyterian Church. Burial will follow at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #2. She is survived by one son John Henry and wife Jeannine of Houston, three daughters, Evelyn Cunningham and husband, Al of Houma, Karen Killion and husband, Mark of Houma and Linda White and husband, Kent of New Iberia, one sister, Margaret “Peggy” Toups Davis Wurlow and husband Kermit of Houma; two half brothers, Jean and Robert Toups and half sister Sally Toups; Nine grandchildren, Melinda Boudreaux Hurlburt, Michelle Killion Bergeron, Angel Cunningham Trahan, Johnny Haslitt, 1st Lt. Steven White, Sara Catherine White, Christopher White, Heather Henry Leal, Aimee Henry Huff; 14 great grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd John Henry, and parents Minty Berger Toups and Felix H. Toups, brother Felix H. Toups, Jr., and great grandson Michael Boudreaux. Marion was born September 26, 1932 in New Orleans and moved to Houma in 1938. She touched the lives of many children including her own during her many years of caregiving. She was a mother and grandmother to many. She will be greatly missed by all. A special thank you to the staff at The Suites at Sugar Mill Point & Haydel hospice care.
