Jeanette Luke

Jeanette Marie Rhodes Luke, 81 and a native of New Orleans and a resident of Houma, died Wednesday September 5, 2012 at 8:05pm. Their will be a graveside service on Saturday, September 8, 2012 at 9:00am at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church Cemetery Mausoleum. She is survived by her daughter, Claudia Luke Rieve and husband E. Christian Rieve, grandchildren, Alexis A. Rieve, Allison Rieve Wallace, Melanie Aucoin Ratcliff, Nichole Aucoin Gaspard and Brandon Aucoin. She is also survived by great grandchildren Sophia Rieve, Lucas Rieve, Tre Ratcliff and Kylan Gaspard, and Sevan Aucoin. She was preceded in death by her husband Floyd Joseph Luke of 47 years, her daughter Janice M. Luke Aucoin and her husband Danny Aucoin, her sister Marie Louise Rhodes Thibodaux, her father Stewart Rhodes and mother Louise Buquet Rhodes. She was a parishioner of Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church. She was a member of the Red Hats Ladies and an avid dog lover. She was a member of the Dog Lover's Humane Society.
