Curtis John Prevost, Sr, 94, died Tuesday, September 4, 2012 at 7:50 PM. He was a native of Houma, LA and resident of Houma, LA. Visitation will be held Thursday, September 6, 2012 from 8:00 AM until Service time at Chauvin Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, September 6, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Chauvin Funeral Home, with burial following at Terrebonne Memorial Park. He is survived by his, Sons, Curtis Prevost, Jr and wife Patricia Prevost, Ronald J. Prevost, Sr and wife Patty Prevost, Thomas A. Prevost and wife Linda, David A. Prevost and wife Susan Prevost; 10 Grandchildren and 10 Great Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his, Wife, Augusta Heintze Prevost Parents, Thomas Albert Prevost and Leonora Trosclair Prevost Brothers, Ruffin Prevost, Connely Prevost, Earl Prevost, Maurice Prevost and Calvin Prevost Sisters, Odessa, Pearl, Vivian and Lillian. He was a member of St. Matthews Episcopal Church. He served our country proudly during World War II. He as an avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting and fishing.
