Anna Bonvillain Rhodes, 86, died Monday, September 3, 2012 at 4:35 PM. She was a native of Houma, LA and resident of Houma, LA. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 5, 2012 from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. and Thursday, September 6, 2012 from 9:00 AM until service time at St. Eloi Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, September 6, 2012 at 11:00 AM at St. Eloi Catholic Church. Burial will follow St. Eloi Catholic Church Cemetery. She is survived by her, son, Dale Joseph Rhodes, daughter, Nina Jeanne Rhodes Matherne and husband David Matherne, grandchildren, Shoneek Marie Savoie, Jeremy Jude Savoie, great grandchildren, Jamie Lee Falgout, Paige Danielle Foster, Lauren Dawn Savoie, Danielle Marie Savoie, brothers, Alvin Bonvillain, Clarence Bonvillain, Donald Bonvillain and Charles Bonvillain. She was preceded in death by her, husband, Edmund Joseph Rhodes parents, Gilbert Bonvillain and Jeanne Theriot Bonvillain, son, Terry John Rhodes, brother, Julius Bonvillain. She was a parishioner of St. Eloi Catholic Church. She enjoyed sewing, painting, writing poetry and gardening.
