Hilda Eschete

Hilda Foret Eschete, 95, died Saturday, September 1, 2012 at 7:30 AM. She was a native of Little Caillou, LA and resident of Houma, LA. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 5, 2012 from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. and Thursday, September 6, 2012 from 11:00 AM until service time at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, September 6, 2012 at 1:00 PM at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Burial will follow at St. Ann Catholic Church Cemetery. She is survived by her, sons, Charles Eschete and wife Cathy, Milwaukee, WI, Gary Eschete, Silverdale, WA, John Eschete, Houma, LA, daughters, Debora Hotard and husband Dale, Houma, LA, Iris Bergeron, Houma, LA, twenty six grandchildren, forty nine great grandchildren and twenty two great great grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her, husband, Magnus Joseph Eschete, Sr., parents, Emile and Sadie Deroche Foret, sons, Calvin Eschete and Magnus Eschete, Jr., daughter, Rosalie Bascle, sons in law, Michael Bergeron, Sr. and Gary Nicks, daughter in law, Patricia Eschete, brothers, Wilbert and Nolan Foret and sister, Velma Dupre, great great grandchild, Braeden Deroche. She was a parishioner of Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church. She had a love of gardening and cooking. She was a wonderful breadmaker and homemaker.
