Odilia Babin

Odilia Cadiere Babin, 95, a native and resident of Houma, LA, died Thursday, August 30, 2012 at 2:08 AM. Visitation will be held on Monday, September 3, 2012 from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM and Tuesday, September, 4, 2012 from 8:00 AM until service time at Chauvin Funeral Home. Funeral Service will begin at 11:00 AM at the Funeral Home. Burial will follow at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #1. She is survived by her sons, Edmond J. Babin and wife Catherine, Stanley Babin and wife Nancy, Reubin Babin and companion Iris Pitre and Ronald Babin and wife Sonja, thirteen grandchildren, twenty two great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren. She was preceeded in death by her husband, Edmond Anthony Babin, parents, Thomas Cadiere and Jennie Pitre Cadiere, grandson, Philip Andrew Babin, great grandson, Devin Michael Babin, sisters, Mrs. Ovide(Leola)Babin, Mrs. Ivy(Viola)Lirette and Mrs. Jeffery(Shirley)Babineaux brothers, Wilbert Cadiere, Harris Cadiere, Joseph Cadiere and Shelby Cadiere. She was a parishioner of Maria Immaculata Catholic Church and her favorite pastime was crocheting.
