William "Bill" Davis

Retired, Lt. Colonel William Joseph Davis, USAF, 93, died Wednesday, August 22, 2012 at 5:12 PM. He was a native and resident of Houma, LA. Visitation will be held on Monday, August 27, 2012 from 9:00 AM until service time at St. Francis de Sales Cathedral and funeral service will be held on Monday, August 27, 2012 at 12:00 PM at St. Francis de Sales Cathedral. Burial will follow at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #1. He is survived by his, son, Robert William Davis,M.D. and wife Dana, Houma, LA, grandchildren, Robin Claire Davis, M.D. and husband John Elliot Beducian and Lt. Hunter William Davis USAF. He was preceded in death by his, wife, Pauline "Polly" Davis, parents, William Thomas and Marie Pertuit Davis, brothers, James Davis, George Davis, and Eugene "Gene" Davis, sisters, Maria Millet, Ruth Daspit, Wilma Young, and Louise Eschete, Marie Burcin. He was a parishioner of St. Matthews Episcopal Church. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the St. Matthews Episcopal Church and School rebuilding fund.
