Leona Landry Crochet, 97, died Tuesday, July 31, 2012 at 10:15 AM. She was a native of Chackbay, LA and resident of Houma, LA. Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 2, 2012 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. and Friday, August 3, 2012 from 8:30 AM until service time at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, August 3, 2012 at 11:00 AM at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Bayou Black Cemetery. She is survived by her daughters, Margie Davaine, Audrey Ellender, Esther Lirette and husband Junius and Althea Millet; sons, Alvin James Bergeron, Allen Bergeron, Michael Bergeron and wife Gloria and Charles Bergeron; step daughters, Eula Mae Chauvin, Theresa Bergeron, Beulah Vedros and Wanda Brunet; sisters, Una Ledet and Doris Sanchez. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Crochet; parents, Felicien Landry and Arnesia Rousseau Landry; sons, Vergis Landry, Marcellian Bourgeois, Joseph Bourgeois, Ernest Bergeron, Eugene Bergeron, and Roy Bergeron; daughters, Bridget Bergeron and Bessie Perrillou; step children, Alton Bergeron and Elsie Mae Parini.
