Howard Fanguy

On Thursday, July 19, 2012 at 12:04 AM our beloved husband, father and friend, Howard Joseph Fanguy, 79, has crossed over to the arms of our Lord. Our lives have been truly blessed by the grace of God with the joy, love and happiness Howard gave. He was born on October 21, 1932 in Dulac, LA. He joined the U.S. Army in 1953 and served from 1953-1955. A member of the VFW Post 4752 and Past member of KC Post 77. Visitation will be on Saturday, July 21, 2012 from 9:00 AM until Service time at Holy Family Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, July 21, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Holy Family Catholic Church. Burial: Holy Family Catholic Church Cemetery He is survived by his, Wife, Dolores Bourg Fanguy; One brother, Anthony “Tony” Fanguy, Sr.; Children, Bettina Dickerson wife of Eric Dickerson of Schriever,LA, Jerome Fanguy husband of Tina Matherne Fanguy of Dulac, Deneen Fanguy of Crosby, Texas and Sheree Fanguy Woodard wife of Ronnie Linn Woodard of Crosby, TX.; Seven Beautiful Grandchildren, Erica Dickerson, Paul Dickerson, Drake Voiron, Mya Fanguy, Justin, Roony and Trey Woodard; and Two Step grandchildren, Andre' Fanguy and Shana Matherne. He was preceded in death by his, Parents, Clifford Fanguy and Evelina Tivet Fanguy; One Sister, Marie Fanguy Brothers, Junius Fanguy, Sr. and Mitchell Fanguy. He was a parishioner of Holy Family Catholic Church.
