Lovincie “Otis” Claude Autin, 85, died Wednesday, July 18, 2012 at 3:00 PM. He was a native of LaRose, LA and resident of Houma, LA. Visitation will be held on Friday, July 20, 2012 from 10:00am to 2:00pm at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, July 20, 2012 at 2:00pm at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc.. Burial: Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Cemetery. He is survived by his, Spouse: Dolores Autin of Houma LA; Daughters: Carol Foster and husband Lane of Houma LA Gail Provost and husband Mike of Morgan City LA and Joanie Jenkins of Houma LA; Brother: Nelson Autin and wife Helen Ledet Autin of Houma LA Grandchildren: Earl Sevin III and wife Melissa Sevin, James Provost and companion Tracy Mott, Lane Foster Jr., Dawn Wiggins and husband Kenny Wiggins, Britt Foster Morel and husband Taylor Morel, Angel Sheffield and husband Roy Sheffield, Chris Provost and wife Alyssa Bland Provost, Charles Foster and wife Stephanie Foster, Claude Autin Jr Michael Jenkins Jr., Scott Jenkins and fiance' Sarah Engle, and Randall Autin; Great Grandchildren: Brandon Provost, Remington Provost, Tristin Provost, Kevin Provost, Justin Provost, Shelby Sheffield, Nicholas Provost, Blake Sevin, Drake Foster, Billie Ann Sheffield, Chelsie Sheffield, Gabrielle Maes, Maya Morel, Olivia Morel, Brooklyn Foster, and Ethan Foster. He was preceded in death by his, Parents: Nelson Autin and Rosa Guidry Autin ; Son: Claude Autin and wife Phyllis Autin; Brothers: Joseph Autin and Stephen Autin; Sisters: Zelma Autin Louviere, Vivian Autin Smith, Sadie Autin Lirette and Florence Autin Domangue. He was a member/parishioner of Bayou Blue Assembly of God. He was an avid fisherman and hunter who enjoyed the outdoors. He loved his grandchildren, who were very special to him. The family would like to thank the Chateau Terrebonne and their staff for their kindness and support. The family would also like to thank Haydel Memorial Hospice staff for the love and care. The family thanks his Godchild Steve Smith for all his love, care and attention given to Lovincie and the family during their time of need.
