Gerard Johannes “Dutch” Damen, 88, died Thursday, July 12, 2012 at 4:35 AM. He was a native of Hillegom, Holland and resident of Houma, LA. Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 14, 2012 from 9:00 AM until Service time at Annunziata Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, July 14, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Annunziata Catholic Church. Burial: Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Cemetery. He is survived by his, Children, John Damen and wife Tineke Damen and their two daughters Michelle and Nicole, Randle Damen and the late Denise Damen and their children Katie Bronosky and Steven Damen, Louise Frederick and her partner Monique Gary and her children Robert Frederick, Lauren Frederick and Megan Lanclos, and the late Robin Damen and his wife Julie Damen and their children Nick Damen and his wife Courtney, Sarah and Jacob Damen, Hanson Damen and his wife Cathy Damen and their children Corey and Chris Damen and Lisa Damen; Two great grandchildren Alayna Frederick and Olivia Lanclos and Three surviving sisters, Rie Damen, Lida Beelen and Wil v/d Willik. He was preceded in death by his, Wife of 59 years, Elizabeth Johanna Damen; Parents, Cornelius Damen and Louise Nijssen Damen; Son, Robin Damen. He was a parishioner of Annunziata Catholic Church. Gerard "Dutch" retired from Frank's Casing Crew and Rental of Houma, LA. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Annunziata Catholic Church.
