Lonnie Davis

Lonnie Roy Davis, 86, died Wednesday, June 13, 2012 at 1:55 PM. He was a native of Spur, TX and resided in Houston, TX for most of his life. He was a current resident of Houma, LA. He is survived by his, son, Mike Davis and wife Ginger Davis, Lafayette, LA, daughters, Helen James and husband William James, Houma, LA, Peggy Turner and husband Ricky Turner, Houma, LA, Nancy Littlejohn and husband Larry Littlejohn, Katy, TX, 15 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, two great grandchildren on the way, sister, Syble Huber. He was preceded in death by his, wife, Mary Lois Mitchell Davis, parents, Samuel L. Davis and Ollie Harkey Davis, 2 grandchildren, brother, Sam Davis, sisters, Helen Robinson and Ruby Gaer. He served in the United States Army during World War II and was honorably discharged. He was an avid golfer. He loved to fish, hunt and enjoyed riding motorcycles. He was a member of the Corpus Christi Riders "C.C Rider" after World War II.
