Jeanette Dugas Simon, 85, died Monday, June 11, 2012. She was a native of Lafayette, LA and resident of Houma, LA. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 13, 2012 from11:00 AM until service time at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 1:00 PM at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. Burial will follow at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #2. She is survived by her, husband, Rodney Simon, Houma, LA son, David Simon and wife Lisa, Breaux Bridge, LA daughter, Paula Giles and husband Jeff, Houma, LA, grandchildren, Jessica Martello, Jack Giles, Lauren Giles, Shawn Lapeyrouse and husband Lonnie, Amy Simon, James Carroll, Natalie Carroll, great grandchildren, Eve Robinson, Luke Lapeyrouse, Leo Lapeyrouse, Kayla Dupre, and sister, Jane Bertrand. She was preceded in death by her, parents, Espera Victor Dugas and Dora Hebert Dugas, brothers, Harold Dugas, Leland Dugas and Charles Dugas. Jeannette was a parishioner of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. She was a homemaker and loved her family, kids and dogs. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Louis Infant Center, 3513 Bayou Black Drive, Houma, LA 70360.
