Jules Anthony Pitre, Jr., 66, died Friday, June 8, 2012 at 7:15 PM. He was a native of Houma, LA and resident of Gibson, LA. Visitation will be held on Monday, June 11, 2012 from 11:00 AM until service time at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. Funeral Service will begin at 1:00 PM at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. Burial will follow at St. Louis Catholic Church Cemetery He is survived by his, wife, Cherand Clement Pitre, sons, John R. Pitre, Sr., Jules "Trey" A. Pitre, III, daughter, Robin M. Hubbard, grandchildren, Holli B. Landry, John R. Pitre, Jr., Gabrielle N. Pitre, Tyler J. Hubbard, Trent A. Hubbard, Anecia Lynn Pitre, Alexander J. Pitre, Christian J. Dupre, sister, Glenna Pitre DeRoche wife of Terry DeRoche, Sr., brother, David J. Pitre, Sr. husband of Mary Marcel Pitre. He was preceded in death by his, parents, Jules Anthony Pitre, Sr. and Edna Duet Pitre, sisters, Della Pitre Babin wife of Donald J. Babin, Jr. and Edna Pitre. He was a parishioner of St. Louis Catholic Church. He worked for the Department of the Interior Mineral Management Services for 35 years. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus at St. Louis and a member of the AARP Shrimpers Row, Morgan City. He was a proud member of Hideaway Ponds in Gibson, LA.
